Hello Football Fans! 1/1/2012: - With the NFL Regular Season comming to a close and most of our favorite team season is over(except for the lucky fans were their owners want to win and not just make money lol) I thought I start a Football Mogul 2012 Fantasy League. This league will require team owners to not only put a winning team on the field but also make a profit, all while staying under the salary cap each season. At the "Rules & Settings" page you can view all the info on signing up and becoming an owner of a PRO Football Team. Good Luck to ALL & Have Fun Thanks, "Steve Carey League Commish & GM/Coach of Buffalo Bills"

matt420692 I have thought about that but I didn't want people picking teams like Green bay, Colts, New england etc and have an unfair advantage just because those teams are SUPER awesome. I wanted to have a league that would test all players on drafting a team, working under a salary cap, trying to get sellouts for their stadiums and each year trying to put a "winning product" on the field. Most fans that you hear on sport talk show's or atleast here in Buffalo say they all could do it better, so I thought this would be the fairest, most fun fantasy football league out there. If this season is succsesfull and we get more players I will have other leagues with different formats so we can have a league for everyone in the future.

I think your example about fans saying they could do better is meaning they could make better moves when it comes to the rookie draft, free agency, and what not. Not in actually picking a team. I'd prefer to keep my team but will do the draft if that's what's decided.

I just saw we are using 2000 as the starting date if I'm correct? I missed that when i signed up, i think if we're doing a fantasy draft, using current rosters would be the best for that since most of us know current rosters best

Yea point well taken we are going to use the 2011-2012 roster. I didn't think about that and some if not all might not know who is good,ok,avg,or bad way back in 2000. So we will use the 2011 roster's this season but it will still be a fantasy draft style.

Can we compromise and do somewhere between 05 and 07 so the first couple years we can draft real players fort the first couple years instead of CPU players.
